Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information

XIIID collects and uses applicants’ personal information for the purpose of processing XIIID Point-to-XIIID Token swap applications and ensuring the security and integrity of the swap process.

1. Purpose of Collection and Use
The collected personal information will be used for the following purposes:
Processing XIIID Point-to-XIIID Token swap applicationsIdentity verification and KYC (Know Your Customer) proceduresPreventing duplicate applications, fraudulent activity, and bot-related activitiesVerifying swap eligibility and application informationManaging inquiries and operational matters related to the swap process

2. Personal Information Collected
The following personal information may be collected during the application process:
Name and information required for identity verificationIdentification information contained in the submitted ID documentA photograph of the applicant holding their identification documentInformation directly provided through the application formOther information necessary for KYC verification and processing the swap

3. Processing and Protection of Personal Information
The collected personal information will only be used to the extent necessary for the purposes stated above and will be securely managed and processed in accordance with the XIIID Privacy Policy.
Personal information will be deleted without undue delay once the purposes of collection and use have been fulfilled or the applicable retention period under relevant laws and internal policies has expired. However, information may be retained for a longer period where required by applicable laws and regulations.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
XIIID will not provide applicants’ personal information to third parties without their consent. However, exceptions may apply where disclosure is required by applicable laws or regulations, or as otherwise specified in the XIIID Privacy Policy.

5. Refusal of Consent
Applicants may refuse to consent to the collection and use of their personal information. However, as KYC and identity verification are required for the XIIID Token swap, refusing consent may prevent the applicant from completing the swap application or receiving the swap.
